April Fools

The best day of the year right?

It’s been three weeks since my last post and a lot has happened so first and foremost I’m going to update you all that’s happened and will be happening in the coming weeks.

Kaden and I have made the difficult decision to move to Omaha, Nebraska. Where this will put us closer to my family and in the same home as Kaden’s family, it will be leaving behind friends and family in Idaho. We have built a life here that we will be saying goodbye to and it will not, is not, an easy task. Tears have been and will continue to be shed as we leave behind people we love to continue our journey in life.

From this, I am reminded how grateful I am to have people in my life who make saying goodbye to, so dang hard. 

As we pack boxes and get things in order to move we take on a ride we’ve never ridden together, moving across multiple states. I’m grateful to be in graduate school right now and to have the many opportunities to work through the endless possibilities of good or bad with my cohort. 

Throughout the last few weeks Kaden and I have applied to jobs, called doctors, shown our appartment, sold a car, sold furniture, and completed our final projects of our semesters. We have only 30 days left until our move but I can guarantee I will have everything done in 15. 

Because April 29th Kaden finally gets to cash in his birthday gift and see Post Malone in Salt Lake City, Utah!
